There is nothing more exciting than bringing home your newborn home and welcoming them into your family! Did you ever think you could fall in love with someone so quickly? As a mom myself, I know there is no way to explain it! The newborn lifestyle session is designed to capture all of your love for your newest family member in the comfort of your own home. Our time together is very relaxed while I work to capture you in your natural moments.
Please note that this is a lifestyle photo session, meaning that there will not be any extreme posing of your newborn done. Instead we will work together to capture moments of your baby with both parents, in his/her nursery, with siblings, and together with your whole family.

FAQ
What is your payment policy?
A non refundable $100 deposit is due at time of booking to secure your session, unless otherwise agreed upon. Deposit must be received within 3 days of booking the session. Your session date is not secure until deposit is received. The remaining balance is due the day of your session.
What is your pricing for additional digital images?
You may purchase your entire gallery for an additional $100.
What if I need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule for any reason, a 24 hr notice is required. Your previously paid deposit can be applied to the reschedule date. If the second rescheduled date is postponed, the deposit is forfeited. A cancellation forfeits entire deposit.
What should we wear?
Don't worry! I'm here to support you with this and will help provide feedback along the way of choosing everyone's outfits. I also will provide you with a styling guide that provides helpful tips.
What happens if it's supposed to rain?
No worries! Rescheduling due to weather concerns will take place and will be at the photographers discretion. There will be no penalty for weather-related rescheduing. Typically, the call to reschedule is not made until a few hours before the session time. Our weather flucuates so much, and we wouldn't want to miss what ends up being a beautiful day. Also, I know cloudy skies may seem misleading as they actually provide the ideal lightening for your photos!
Will you help us know how to pose?
Even though I love capturing those candid lifestyle moments between you and your family, I will help prompt you along the way so you know what to be doing. I've found this helps relax everyone and allows us to have fun! I promise I provide as many helpful tips and direction as needed. And don't worry, I'll help you know where to put your hands!
Do you choose the locations?
I do have some preferred locations to use, however if you have a specific location in mind please let me know so I can be sure to check it out! Please keep in mind a travel fee may apply if location is outside 20 miles of Crystal Lake.
Can we bring along our dog?
I am happy to include your dog in a few of your photos, but in order to guarantee you the best gallery possible, I would ask that someone else comes with to be with the dog until we are ready to have him/her added in.
It usually works best for us to start our time together without any dogs added in to make sure we have all other shots you are hoping for, and then include your dog into the end of our session to allow for some more playful moments with him/her.
